The Anthony H. Kruse Foundation is continuing its support of youth development in Boulder County.

AHK Foundation is sponsoring the "All-Star Summer Youth Development Sports Camp", designed to provide athletic sports training to low-income and minority youth in Boulder County. This sponsorship includes both financial support and personal interaction AHK Staff members – who deliver motivational speeches, assist with the camp administration and provide athletic assistance to the "All-Star" campers.

The "All-Star Summer Youth Development Sports Camp" is administered by BOLD (Building on Life’s Disappointments) and the Family Learning Center – both Boulder County-based youth development organizations.

Both organizations share a deep passion and commitment for the empowerment of youth.  In collaboration, they have designed a program that provides a unique opportunity for young people to develop and master valuable skills for success in school, business and life. BOLD and the Family Learning Center hope to level the playing field for youth in Boulder County, especially for low-income and minority youth by helping them gain skills they can use to increase their participation in high school and college level sports. They believe that the skills youth learn through participating in organized team sports carry over into the workforce and provide additional opportunities to succeed.
BOLD and the Family Learning Center both believe in a world and a community where all children, regardless of social economic status, race or creed have unlimited opportunities to achieve their highest potential. They also believe that the world and their community is a much better place when children of all social economic status, race or creeds grow and play together

Through the sponsorship from the Anthony H. Kruse Foundation, the youth participants will receive one-on-one training in various sports, t-shirts and water bottles concluding with an awards presentation and barbeque at the end of the camp.  AHK Staff will be on hand to help present these well-deserving youth with their certificate, awards and to help celebrate their many accomplishments.
