"Your generosity will truly make a difference assisting our efforts to youth in Colorado communities and around the country in communities that have been impacted by man-made and /or natural disasters/disappointments. We value our partnership with you in supporting our BOLD leaders of tomorrow."

BOLD

"Building On Life's Disappointments", (BOLD) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth organization, compassionately conceived to offer children and young adults character, leadership, and life skills development, through BOLD Programs. These programs support local Colorado youth as well as other youth from communities affected by natural and/or man-made disappointments or disasters. BOLD's educational programs provide opportunities to "at-risk" children to participate in workshops focused on developing these skills. Through one of the BOLD programs, 30 males and females were given the opportunity to experience a ski trip in the Colorado Mountains. This program was designed to empower "at-risk" teens from the Gulf States to overcome their challenges and achieve their potential. The participants were between the ages of 13-18 and are selected in part on their involvement as volunteers in community service either prior to and/or after attending the BOLD program.

The Boedecker Foundation supports BOLD's mission and vision to assist young people through character building, leadership and life skills through BOLD certified programs and providing youth with the tools to triumph over life's challenges.
