Kids Matter
The mission of Kids Matter International is to bring healing to orphaned or abandoned children by providing an environment where they can grow stronger emotionally and physically, so that they may become healthy adults and productive citizens of their nations.
At Kids Matter International they believe that family in the form of love from a mother and father is the most natural effective healing and empowering agent for children. Homes have been set up consisting of ten to fifteen children. Children being raised by committed house parents in a caring disciplined environment. This will help children to grow and become healthy adults.
Kids Matter International and all of their committed supporters are constantly seeking creative opportunities to bring practical solutions to improve the living conditions of the communities where they serve. They believe in a holistic approach in restoring a child. This includes providing medical aid, education, food, clothes and shelter, as well as teaching life skills resulting in safe and clean surroundings, personal hygiene and awareness of the environment. Education, arts and language skills allow them the opportunity to develop into leaders.
Kids Matter International believes that spiritual development is the foundation to raising children to have integrity and a sense of purpose and significance in the world.
